On behalf of the Convening Committee, it is with great pleasure we invite you to attend ASA2008 Perth, the 15th National Conference of the Australian Sonographers Association. The conference will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC), 16 –18 May 2008. The PCEC is located in the heart of the city, along the Swan River foreshore, providing delegates and visitors easy access to the city. Perth’s relaxed culture, clean air, magnificent weather, safety and security, infrastructure and natural environment are just some of the rewards of visiting the city.
The scientific convenors have assembled a talented and experienced faculty of renowned international and local speakers, who will provide continuing medical ultrasound education and current ultrasound research
on a number of topics. We are pleased to welcome Dr Fiona Wood, 2005 Australian of the Year, as our opening speaker, and we look forward to hearing her thoughts on medicine in isolation.
As well as providing you with the opportunity to view the latest technical innovations our exciting social program is not to be missed. The Convening Committee is seeking submissions for proffered papers, case studies and poster presentations. If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please review the requirements at
