Setting up an ultrasound practice by a Sonographer

I would like to get in touch with those sonographers who have set up their own busineses specifically on how they operate in relation to medicare payments and Radiologists who report on their images. How do you claim medicare rebates since medicare does not provide sonographers with provider numbers.

3D/4D fetal scans

After last years discussion I was wondering how things have evolved with the elective 3D/4D fetal scan.
Are you or do you know of clinics providing "elective" 3D US?
If so is this within a Radiology practice or as a stand alone private business?
Interested to know how national this service might be.
Do you agree with accredited sonographers providing a limited non diagnostic photo session?
